Terms, Privacy, Cookies, Refunds & Grievance Policy
These policies apply to corcusacademy.in, its registration and payment pages, and online or offline courses, workshops, masterclasses, mentorship programmes, and related services offered under Corcus Academy by Corcus Studio LLP.
Terms & Conditions
Rules governing Website use, enrollment, course participation, payments, and learner conduct.
1. About Corcus Academy
Corcus Academy is the education and training initiative of Corcus Studio LLP (referred to as “Corcus,” “Corcus Academy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We provide skill-based learning programmes that may be delivered online, offline, live, recorded, hybrid, or through a combination of these formats.
2. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms form a binding agreement between Corcus and the person accessing the Website or purchasing or participating in a programme (“you,” “learner,” or “participant”). If enrollment is completed by a parent, guardian, employer, or sponsor, that person also confirms acceptance of these Terms for the relevant payment and enrollment obligations.
3. Eligibility and learners below 18 years
- You must be legally capable of entering into a contract under applicable law.
- Learners below 18 years may participate only with the knowledge and consent of a parent or lawful guardian.
- We may request age, identity, guardian, or authorization details where reasonably required for enrollment, safety, payments, certification, or legal compliance.
- You are responsible for ensuring that the programme is suitable for your age, education level, technical ability, and career or business objectives.
4. Registration and seat confirmation
- You must provide complete and accurate information during registration.
- Submitting a form alone does not guarantee admission or reserve a seat.
- A seat is confirmed only after the required payment is successfully received and enrollment is acknowledged by Corcus through email, WhatsApp, SMS, dashboard, receipt, or another official channel.
- Seats may be limited and are generally allocated on a first-confirmed-payment basis.
- We may reject, suspend, or cancel an enrollment where information is false, a payment is reversed, a batch is full, programme prerequisites are not met, or there is a reasonable risk of misuse or misconduct.
5. Fees, taxes, discounts, and payments
- The applicable fee, taxes, installment plan, registration amount, and offer conditions are those displayed or officially communicated at the time of purchase.
- Payments may be collected through Razorpay or another authorized payment service provider. We generally receive transaction status and limited payment metadata, not your complete card, UPI PIN, or banking credentials.
- Discounts, coupons, scholarships, early-bird pricing, and promotional offers are subject to their stated validity, eligibility, seat availability, and usage conditions.
- Unless expressly stated, offers cannot be combined, transferred, exchanged for cash, or applied retrospectively.
- You remain responsible for bank charges, internet charges, foreign-exchange charges, or taxes imposed directly by your bank or payment provider.
- If an installment is overdue, we may pause access, classes, mentoring, projects, certificates, or placement-related support until dues are cleared.
6. Course format, schedule, and changes
- Programme dates, timings, duration, delivery mode, location, syllabus, mentors, tools, and project structure are described on the relevant page or in official enrollment communication.
- Reasonable changes may be made to improve learning quality, respond to mentor availability, platform outages, public holidays, operational needs, or industry developments.
- Where a material change affects a confirmed batch, we will make reasonable efforts to inform learners through registered contact details.
- A change of mentor, classroom, platform, session sequence, supporting tool, or non-material curriculum component does not by itself create an automatic right to a refund.
7. Attendance, assignments, access, and learner responsibility
- You are responsible for joining sessions on time, completing assignments, maintaining attendance, checking official updates, and arranging a compatible device and stable internet connection where required.
- Missed classes caused by personal absence, device failure, travel, network issues, or failure to check communication do not normally entitle you to a refund or private replacement session.
- Any recording, summary, rescheduled class, doubt session, or makeup support is subject to programme-specific availability and is not guaranteed unless expressly included.
- Account credentials, meeting links, classroom access, course files, and learner dashboards are personal and must not be shared.
8. Live projects, client work, and confidentiality
- Any “live,” “real-client,” “agency,” “industry,” or internship-style project depends on availability, suitability, client permission, learner readiness, and operational requirements.
- Project allocation, role, scope, duration, and deliverables may vary between learners and batches.
- You must keep confidential all non-public client, campaign, account, customer, pricing, credential, analytics, business, and project information shared during training.
- You must not contact a client independently, represent yourself as an employee or authorized agent of Corcus, download unauthorized data, or reuse confidential work outside the programme.
9. Session recordings and use of learner contributions
- Online or offline sessions may be photographed or recorded for teaching, attendance, quality, security, internal review, and learner-access purposes.
- A recording may incidentally capture your name, profile image, voice, video, chat messages, questions, screen share, or submitted work.
- Where practical, you may keep your camera off, use a display name, or ask questions privately; however, some interactive activities may require identification or participation.
- We will seek separate permission before intentionally using your identifiable testimonial, photograph, video, or success story for public advertising, unless you have already submitted it for that stated purpose.
10. Certificates, internships, jobs, income, and outcomes
- A certificate may be subject to minimum attendance, assignment completion, fee payment, assessments, conduct, or other programme-specific criteria.
- Participation or course completion does not guarantee a certificate where stated requirements are not met.
- Unless separately confirmed in writing, Corcus does not guarantee employment, internship placement, freelancing work, client acquisition, salary, promotion, business revenue, examination success, or any specific outcome.
- Career guidance, interview preparation, referrals, job alerts, portfolio reviews, or placement assistance are support services and not a promise of selection by any third party.
- Examples of student work, earnings, placements, campaign performance, or business results are illustrative and individual results will vary.
11. Intellectual property and permitted use
Website content, course videos, recordings, presentations, templates, exercises, worksheets, source files, brand assets, teaching methods, and original materials are owned by or licensed to Corcus unless stated otherwise. Upon valid enrollment, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the supplied materials for your own learning.
You must not, without prior written permission:
- record, copy, upload, publish, sell, license, rent, distribute, or commercially exploit course content;
- share login credentials, paid recordings, meeting links, source files, or restricted downloads;
- remove copyright, watermark, branding, attribution, or access controls;
- use our materials to create or operate a substantially copied competing course or training product;
- scrape, crawl, reverse engineer, interfere with, or attempt unauthorized access to the Website or related systems.
